Farkas running around naked.

While fighting the giant that attacks the farm near Whiterun with the Companions.  Farkas was nude and doing the T pose.  I used FNIS and he no longer uses the T pose.  But he is still naked.  I have not been to the Companions mead hall, so I don't know if it effects all the male members.

 

So my question is this:  Has anyone encountered this problem and if so, how did you fix it?

there is a similar bug on my game too
there are some NPCs that are naked, only have thier boots and the headgear if have one
dunno what is happening
but the "T" pose was a FNIS bug, better review the animations (combat animations,idles etc)

I fixed the "T" pose problem by running 'FNIS.'  But he is still nude.  I worry cause I wanted to join the Companions and I'd would literally have to watch my back, when Farkas is behind me in the 'Proving Honor' quest.   Don't want to drop my sword or trip with his raging hardon behind me.

 

Oh!  I forgot to mention I am on the SE version.

I think this happens when you install an armor mod or upgrade an existing one that changes the armor that someone you've already met is wearing.  I haven't run into it very often but it's always been after I either upgraded a mod or installed a new one that included armor.  Maybe your save is now referencing armor that no longer exists because your load order changed it to something else?  I would bet he actually has the armor in his inventory and is just not wearing it.

Well I don't know what the problem was, but when I restarted the game it fixed the problem.  Maybe it was as you say?  Anyway thanks for the tip, I will use it for future reference.
