¿Skyrim and Mac?

Hello, almighty All, 

 

hope everything is well with you, peeps.

 

i’m a Mac user — i know; i know —; got an old 21.5-inch mid 2011 iMac running with a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 and 32 GB DDR-3 Ram. the video is a AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB, the OS X is 10.11.X "El Capitan."

i read there’s a (quite expensive, actually) version of Skyrim on Steam for Mac — "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition"— ; also, since i often browse this forum’s section, i've been quite curious about the game and its (or your) mods.

 

would you folks recommend? should i acquire it?

Hello and warning.

There is NOT an official version of the game for Mac.

 

The best is to get Oldrim and use Wineskin.
