pepper10 Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 I have a strange question, i work in S.Korea, my OS is in Korean, but almost all the websites, software and games i play are in english. I have always wondered about anti virus programs, if the country they are made makes any difference at all, or do they all detect the same viruses? I have switched back and forth from some leading korean programs(like alyak,V3) to more foreign based ones like norton, avast, security essentials type stuff. I guess what I am asking is does the language/country of the software or websites make any difference in what viruses you get or what viruses are detected by the program??

prideslayer Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 1. Language doesn't matter. 2. If your browsing habits are even semi-safe, the only antivirus you need is MSE
