whats going on?

skyrim seems to going mad, I tried to load up my latest save only for it to CTD

 

I think this may have something to do with installing better vampires, something I only did after updating the RaceCompatibility mod (i updated to the latest version, started a new game) then got a player vampire script error, which after googling it, discovered that Racecompatibility is not compatable with the latest version of better vampire's and I need to update to the latest version of RaceCompatibility (I never had this problem when I was using the older version), So the old version of RC isn't compatable with the latest version of BV and you need to install the latest RC to fix it (OK, but what happens if you dont have BV installed), after installing better vampires i discovered the latest version of RaceCompatibility throws up an error if you dont have Better vampires installed

 

any way I'm now getting a CTD when i try to load my last save.  i've looked at my log file and found this near the end

my load list starts of

  1  1 Update.esm
  2  2 Dawnguard.esm
  3  3 HearthFires.esm
  4  4 Dragonborn.esm
  5  5 Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp

 

I thought the Legendary patch included the patches for the others, I've installed the missing patches only to get told their not compatable with the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch. starting a new game does solve the problem, but it'll mean starting from scratch

Can you post the full log and a load order, it looks like you've got an old mod trying to check for the older Unofficial patches (Never ever reinstall those, stick to USLEEP).

If it's just a "Soft check" then it's probably not causing the crash, but I can't be sure without more info.
