GodSmack Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 hey, so heres my problem, my skyrim keeps freezing random (around 5 mins in) at first i though it was because i failed to uninstall and reinstall arise chapter 1, from skyrim nexus, but now that i have in uninstalled and deleted i dont know what has happend its not my loading order since there is nothing that conflicts with anything so im a little lost
venomg3 Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 check your save game size, its possible you have a corrupted game (happens sometimes with mods being uninstalled)
Ark of Truth Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Beth games bottleneck CPU when they become heavy modded. All they games apart from Fallout do it, that I know off. Not a lot can be done after it, try removing some mods and see if performance improves.
igora Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 if the save was corrupted Skyrim would CTD before he could finish loading his save. try this : 1) loading another save ( more then 2 ) 2) a] launch with steam and disable arise chapter 1.esp b] launch NMM and disable arise chapter 1.esp c] launch Skyrim and try at least 2 to 3 saves 3) the boring and long way : disable the other mods until you find the one that's messing everything 4) if you have SKSE then go in the papyrus folder, and the bottom of the file "***.0" look what was causing the most error messages have fun best regards igora
sbire Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 sounds like a messed up save with many uninstalled scripts. pls show us your papyrous0.log

Th3_d4rk_4rch0n Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 You need to go to ----> my documents/my games/skyrim and find the Skyrim.ini located there and open it.Then Search the Papyrus Line and you will see this: bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1 If you have this all with the number one papyrus log's will be created in ---> Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script. Go play some and when the first freeze or ctd comes go there and find the Papyrus0.log and show him here.
GodSmack Posted August 18, 2012 Author Posted August 18, 2012 theres no papyrus line, no logging, trace, information whatever it is, its not in there so i need to know what under what do i type it in do i put it under display, lod, imagespace, main?

[/quote'] I had this same problem until I went back, read the thread, and went to the "Skyrim.ini" file in My Documents, *NOT* the "prefs" version. You'll find a "Papyrus" section towards the bottom of the list, with these three entries in it.
