fedeuno Posted October 21, 2017 Posted October 21, 2017 I just cant play with that thousand years mouse lag feeling! first i tried Go to "C:\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition" and open the SkyrimPrefs.ini file using notepad or any other text editing software instead of doing it as in the normal skyrim, find the iVSyncPresentInterval=1 line, it was at the end of the [Display] section Change iVSyncPresentInterval=1 to iVSyncPresentInterval=0 (change the 1 to a 0) But its NOT work then i tired go to team folder to change iVSyncPresentInterval=0 and bMouseAcceleration to 0 its NOT work either. why? because i cant even find bMouseAcceleration ! ok no problem,i added one but it WAS NOT work as well then i tried change Gforce NOT work as well and then i tried to change fMouseHeadingSensitivity=0.1000 from 0.0300 under document skyrim SE folder it is NOT work PLS ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO FIX THE DAMN MOUSE LAG??? guk Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Hi, i'm getting my Skyrim ready for another playthrough and have exactly the same problem: Extreme mouse lag. The settings to fix it are actually called bMouseAcceleration = 0 iPresentInterval = 0 However they don't work if Skyrim runs in any kind of windowed mode. Either its native window ( bfull screen=0 ), or the ENBlocal settings with ForceBorderless(Fullscreen) seem to reintroduce the mouse lag. So make sure you have none of these window modes enabled. Only disadvantage is that Skyrim will freeze if you tab to desktop, and the loading times (also when closing the game) seem to be longer. But it's either that or "valium mode" like playing with a gamepad. edit: just noticed that you posted this under Skyrim but your problem is with Skyrim SE. Well my fix is confirmed for classic Skyrim.
guk Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Oh well now i noticed that, when playing in fullscreen mode and forced VSync, the player movement gets all choppy instead. Seems like there is no way to both get rid of the mouselag, and have a fluidly animated game otherwise. Well unless you want to play without VSync and have extreme tearing.
