shar181 Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 I promise, this will be my last thread in this forum! T-T So as anyone who has witnessed my barrage of pleas for technical help might know, I recently did a fresh install of Oblivion and promptly modded it the fuck up with lewd goodness. However, all of these lovely mods have been causing bizarre little quirks in the game, and that brings me to the subject of this thread; NPCs always seem to be staring at my character. I don't mean as with the subtitles caused by Joburg, but their headtracking seems almost permanently locked on to the player. Even if I'm stealthed and they have not noticed me, they will be half-turned in my direction, watching. It's even more noticable in inns and taverns, where every NPC in the place will stare silently at her tits or whatever. In dungeons it causes problems, because having them look in her direction makes stealth almost impossible. Details: - They don't actually turn in her direction. They simply turn their heads, and sometimes partially turn at the waist as with normal headtracking behaviour. - It does not seem to matter whether my character is "hidden" or not. Distance seems to be the only factor in whether they will be looking towards me. - While actively engaged in conversation with another NPC, they will be looking at that NPC. However, in combat with another NPC they will look at my character between attacks. To test whether it was caused by a mod or just normal Oblivion weirdness, I did a fresh install on a different computer and went to the Arena area of the city, and stood near the two sparring NPCs. In my modded installation, they constantly tried to look at me except in mid-attack, while on the fresh install they were looking at each other. I tried deactivating a few mods to see if they were the cause of the behaviour, and it does not seem to be caused by Joburg, LoversStripper, LoversHooker, or Estrus. Apparently a bug that was fixed in the most recent update. So woot!
