Inability to feed as a vampire in Skyrim.

I'm playing skyrim with the new dawnguard expansion but I cannot seem to feed. I go into the menu allowing me to choose between pickpocket and feed but when I press feed there is no animation, or red lights, nothing. Can someone help me out? I kinda get idea that its some kind of script conflict. If anyone can help me so I can get back to playing Brehanin Better Vampires and dawnguard it'd be much appreciated.

Nope. Seducing them doesn't work. Tried it before. Animation doesn't play, don't decrease in stage or anything.

Sounds like a load order issue or load order conflict. You will need to post your load order.

 

If you look at the link in post 2 and follow the instructions in that thread you can get your load order.

Do you see any load order issues here? I'm convinced this is some kind of script issue and something is overriding the feeding script.

if its a mod conflict i recommend getting wrye bash, it can detect if your loading order is the cause or not

are you using a custom race like lunari, epic elfs, jokers?

Actually no. I fixed the problem which happened to be some sort of animation bug. I don't know from what mod but I had to reinstall skyrim without mods to get it working again.

For anyone else experiencing this problem, I had exactly the same issue when I updated Better Vampires to the newer version (5 i think?), but did not follow the "update" instructions listed in the mod. I just extracted the files as you would installing a new mod.

 

Had to reinstall skyrim to fix the issue.
