I've always had a few crashes here and there, but lately it's increased. Mostly since delving into the world of "Adult" mods. I have the Papyrus crash logs enabled, but I can't make heads or tails of it. I crash mostly at three different times. Either after Fast Travel, when opening the map, or when leaving through a door. It's not 100% of the time, and it doesn't matter the location. Corsayr Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 For sure add the mods that Sarge is suggesting, but tbh you have way too much stuff going on here. You appear to have 2 different realistic needs mods, and what appeared to be 4-5 weather mods. significant re-texturing basically 20lbs of stuff in a 5lb bag. First thing You papyrus is showing a lot of errors from 186 ba zzEstrus.esp which if you are only using cuz it is a pre-req for Estrus Chaurus then you can safely disable the .ESP zzEstrus all Chaurus needs is for it to be installed (doesn't have to be active and it is a resource pig)

As for the weather mods, I use ENB and was following directions for the profile I was using. It recommended multiple ones as they were supposed to work together with compatibility patches and each add something different. Mind you, all of my non adult mods were added a very long time ago, I just updated them to the most recent version recently. I haven't played in almost a year. For all I know, maybe they no longer play nice. I'll try removing some and see if that helps. The textures I don't think should be an issue, I have a very good PC and even with all of the HD textures, still get 60+ frames easily. It shouldn't be a memory issue either with 16gb.

Frostfall and Wet and Cold are both very needy mods and they do much of the same stuff. What ENB are you using? You are getting a bunch of XPMSE errors right before your crash, you may want to reinstall it and make sure nothing ever overwrites it. Could probably move it down lower in your load order too. I don't think there should be any animation based mods loaded after it. (Are you using MO? If so than you can just check to be sure nothing is conflicting with it.)

A lot of invisible gear, so I uninstalled it. Is there something else I need to do to make it stop? I actually only just installed that today. As for Frostfall and Wet and Cold, I thought they were compatible? I have both installed because I was playing a survival playthrough. I used WaC for the effects and NPC behaviors really. Does Frostfall do that now? It's hard to remember how things were a year ago. The ENB was RealVision I believe? In the description it said to install all of those weather mods together. I just removed True Storms to test actually. Since that and Supreme Storms are very alike. Edit: I'll try reinstalling XPMSE now, And I use Nexus Mod Manager and Loot. They placed it there in my order.

As for the texture packs, I do use Skyrim HD 2k, I didn't realize the official packs were toggled on. I always had them off, but must have checked them without realizing it. Thanks for pointing that out!

Did you install like any patches or anything with DCUR that might still be around? If not try something like SaveTool https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? To get rid of the orphaned scripts. Deviously Cursed Loot won't run correctly if you have mods that change children from essential in your load order. Frostfall and Wet and cold are compatible but they are both very script heavy. I am just suggesting ways to reduce your load with this one. As long as you are following your ENB instructions then don't mind me. Those are just a lot of mods that normally don't play well together, if your ENB is traffic cop-ing them into working right all is good. (are you sure the ENB instructions don't say to deactivate their ESP files though? Double check that. My ENB had me install a weather mod but just so it could use its assets and it wasn't meant to be activated. )

Did you remember to run bodyslide after installing cursed loot and devious devices?
DORODERE Posted October 11, 2017 Author Posted October 11, 2017 Alright, it took me a little because of work, but I've thoroughly tested my game since making the changes. It looks good! I did crash once, but I figured it wouldn't be perfect. No only is it not crashing constantly, it also loads much much faster. I'm not sure exactly what fixed it, but between what you guys posted, I tried almost everything. So something worked! Thanks! Oh and as for the invisible armor in Devious Cursed Loot, I did run Bodyslide beforehand, but stuff was still invisible. I'll just pass on the mod for now. Maybe I'll try it again down the line.

I save frequently, QuickSave mostly and a full save indoors just as I'm about to exit to carry on questing
