jap2015 Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 When you exit the cave, after you escape from Helgen, follow the path downhill and after it veers to the left you'll be very close. There is a trap door about 6 steps off the path, on the left side. The trap door can be hard to find if you have a mod that's altered the grass. Keep in mind, It's been a while sense I last played this mod.
Kitchensnk Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Also, if you've read the book, and have the quest to go to the hideout, it should have a marker on your map. the Trap door is lying on the ground, so you have to be looking "down" to see it (not scanning the horizon, so to speak)
