Disable pipboy sun glare

Recommended Posts

So I have custom wallpaper for my pipboy, however, when in direct sunlight, I can't read anything on the screen. I can only see the pipboy wallpaper. Sorry if this has been asked before (probably has been), but what I am looking for is some way to make the pipboy stop reacting to the sun. I just want the screen to stay the same brightness, no matter if I am in direct sunlight, or in a pitch black cave.

There are multiple mods to solve that issue in Nexus. The simplest are just ini modifications:

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3191/?tab=description

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/150/?tab=files

Others change it to pitch black and add other stuff:

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7762/?

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/445?tab=files

And others overhaul the pipboy textures, such as:

Hope that helps

This list does not address the sun glare issue, it only changes other aspects of the Pipboy.
