Male underwear keeps returning (SELF SOLVED)

  While it is more of the females I am concerned with, a strange problem keeps happening. 

 

 The male underwear keeps returning. And after a while, it sort of breaks the role-playing of the game. The ONLY mod I have installed in MONTHS is a magic destruction spell, the ion cannon mod. And somehow it messed up the males AGAIN. It NEVER happens to the females, but only the males at weird times with mods that have NOTHING to do with them.

 

 I have dealt with this 3 times before, and spend many hours fixing it. And I forget every time WHAT mod needs to be reinstalled to fix it. I have reinstalled the SOS mods. But I am tired of spending hours on a minor detail and was hoping somebody remembers what causes this. I have used LOOT, reinstalled the SOS and lover's lab mods. 

 

 It is just a small annoyance because I am used to the gameplay as it has been. So I don't want to spend all night AGAIN trying to fix it.

Found the fix. SOS somehow became corrupted and out of date. Weird that it did it on its own without any mods added or changed. But the following is the FIX. In short, just remove the old copy (if used), do a clean install and install the new one.

READ it carefully and just follow the information. Do not forget to run FNIS. After I uninstalled the OLD version and followed instructions to make a clean save, I used the save game cleaner as well BEFORE using NMM to install the new version. Problem solved.

 

Not really a serious issue since I prefer using female characters. But it was weird seeing male characters with underwear and weird genitals sticking out.

ty for posting the fix, iv'e been dealing with same issue, but as you said I kinda dealt with it. sounds like now I can just fix it.
