Newbie2015 Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Hi. As i know its better to use legendary skyrim not special edition cos it have more mods available. try to read this guide maybe it can help http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/3524-sexlab-more-nasty-critters-install-guide/ alot of mods like CBBE FNIS you can find on nexus using search but you need to read alot to make things work properly so get ready for some boring reading/google translating time. But it all worth it cos you can make a stable game (i know this from my own experience).
Inquizit0r Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 First thing you need to decide is: Skyrim or Skyrim Special Edition. Skyrim is less stable and runs on 32bit, means it has limited RAM and tends to crash (aka CTD) more often, but over the several years since its out, there is way more mods to choose from. Skyrim Special Edition is better looking, more stable version, but has way less mods to offer. Recommendation: Regular skyrim is the best skyrim (imo) (About "versions", latest ones are usually the best to use) Then get a Mod Organizer for setting up mods (bit harder to navigate in it, its advanced, but way faster & better than Nexus Mod Manager). Then a SKSE (Skyrim Script Extender on steam) Install the unofficial patch, other mods you want and highly recommended to get mods "Load Game CTD Fix" and "Crash fixes" for most stable gameplay (especially if you use script-heavy & HD textures etc.) Once you got normal game running on basic necessary mods, then you can start getting stuff from LoversLab. Start with latest version of SexLab...after you got that one working, you can download pretty much anything that you prefer. The easiest way is to click the Download button in top right corner ->sort mods by top rated/downloaded. Overall, it all is about personal experience with modding. Highly recommended: to read everything that is related to installing mods, requirements and checking most tutorials. Personal recommendation: youtuber "GamerPoets" has best quality tutorials on proper skyrim modding. Good luck
