TecQueen Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 When I ever play with mods, It seems like when it either crashes or I save and quit and go back in. It won't load up again right away. Anyone know why that may happen? I always have to start a new game to play. Its been turning me off from using mods, but I really want to use them.
foreveraloneguy Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 That could be anything at this point from a mod or mods that are corrupting your save to textures that stress the system too much to something as simple as a bad load order. So at a minimum we need to know what mods, how you install them, whether you ran loot against your load order, basic machine specs, and whether you use a bashed patch. And if you don't have the mod crash fixes, just go get that an install it now.

It is more likely probably bad load order, i am not good at knowing what order things you put in. I try to atleast try to do the core things first, skyrim patch, then mods to make skyrim look nice, character skeleton/body, armor and weapon mods and then the sexlab stuff.. I will keep track what I put down in what order and let you know on this post. I run loot order just to see if there is other stuff such as other esp it needs.
Stiffon Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 How are you installing the mods - NMM, MO or manually? Download and install LOOT and FNIS and run those. Download, install and run Wrye Bash for the Bashed Patch. There is a lot of info here on all those programs if you look around. Good luck.
