kajiragames Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Emergent Narrative, courtesy of Sexlab, Prison Overhaul + 'POP' patches:This is how things happened in Skyrim today. A certain inexperienced Breton female was ordered to rob a house in Whiterun by the Thieves' Guild. Unfortunately, a man named Athelstein was hiding out there. One usually speaks to his mother first and does a mission to search for his brother after talking to them both. Athelstein caught the Breton girl stealing and called the guards, despite the attention this would have brought to himself. The thief was manacled and marched towards Whiterun jail. For petty thievery she was looking at a one day sentence - one day in the pillory at the mercy of the townsfolk, and one night being visited by the guards.Unfortunately, she had earlier begun the process of joining the Dark Brotherhood by assassinating Grelod the Kind at the Riften Orphanage. As she was being led to jail, a messenger arrived with a mysterious note saying "We Know". She could only give a muffled response through her gag but the note was delivered successfully. At the jail she was stripped of all gear and clothing and put in a cell. As soon as she used the cot in the cell, she was whisked off to a cabin in the woods where Astrid the Dark Brotherhood leader was waiting. According to a message [on the screen] she was now an escaped felon with 1000gp added to her bounty.Being naked and weaponless, she used a flame spell to kill a conniving Khajit at Astrid's behest. Then she went straight to the Brotherhood HQ in Falkreath to join up, and was given some assassin's armor. But in the evidence chest back at Whiterun prison were some very good items, and she would have to go to Whiterun some time for one of the guilds. There was nothing for it but to face the music. On arrival at Whiterun she was re-arrested. The higher bounty meant an increased sentence of three days and nights torment, including a 'cage' display (locked up nude with an over-friendly male companion for the entertainment of the nobles of Whiterun). To add insult to injury: When she was finally released from the ordeal, feeling thoroughly whipped and abused, her gear was returned. Oddly, the goods she was caught in the act of stealing were returned to her. But when she took them to the Thieves' Guild to turn them in, thief Vex said she had messed up the job by getting caught. No reward. "Our client didn't appreciate being associated with a criminal element" said Vex. Large white letters appeared in the air - FAILED: SWEEP JOB.

Punga Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 FYI, POP patches = Prison Overhaul Patches patches. POP is not a name, but an acronym.
