Storms of Superior Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 It's been a while since I could be active in the modding community with any significance, so I find that I need to make a request of other, more gifted mod authors. Since its release, SkyUI v5 has pissed me off. It's overly cluttered; it takes too many different types of items getting chucked into the same menus. This is what I'm asking for: -DD items have a separate category than armors. -ZaZ items have a separate category than armors. -While this isn't a SkyUI issue, I would like to request that poisons be kept separate from potions. -Crafting menus can be opened without being at the crafting stations like in WoW (to some extent). -The enchanting menu shows disenchanting separately from the rest, as it does currently, but the list of enchantable gear, the list of enchantments, and the list of soul gems all display, side by side, simultaneously. -Perhaps soul gems and scrolls can be placed in the same category; enchanting materials and magical items like scrolls seem to go well together like this. This request is more of a "maybe," but there are also so few of each kind in the game, that it also makes sense to combine them. -Another "maybe:" perhaps weapons and armor can have drop-down menus to select material types. If anyone is interested, I would be grateful for a good update to the "hair-tearing-out" SkyUI; I don't have much hair left. More seriously, though, is the need to separate DD and Zaz items from the acual armor category; the rest may be a dream. If I could spend the time that it takes to research this stuff, then I would try to do it myself first, but I'm almost out of reliable internet time for the week, and I'll be happy just to find out that someone took the time to read this, so don't get the idea that I'm getting testy or anything. This is really an honest request. Thanks for reading. I'll hang around for a while (maybe a couple of hours), and maybe a conversation can be started.
