New Krista mod

This mod requires that you download the original mod and patch (links below) and then install the English translated esp over top of it.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This Plugin is ONLY for male PC's. It does not support female PC's at this time (and may never for that matter - sorry).
Install Instructions:
1. Download and install the main pack (723.4MB): http://anvilbay.ru/files/lost-happiness/
2. Download and isntall the 1.1 patch (27.3MB): http://anvilbay.ru/files/lost-happiness/
3. Download and install the English esp (27.5MB): http://www.4shared.com/archive/L9MRJPPa/Lost_happ_EN.html


It will need to be fairly low in your load order per the mod authors instructions. I recommend trying it here:

I am currently backing up my oblivion folder so I have not yet had a chance to test this plugin. Please only install this after you have made a backup of your game! This is very much a WIP that could break things in your game so be cautious!!!!!

I will upload pictures and more information once I have had a chance to test this plugin (may not be until Thursday or Friday).

I certainly will need testers. Just looking through this mod it is as big or bigger than Bravil Underground as far as dialogue (1,000+ lines). I can't even imagine how long this must have taken IceCold29 to translate.

 

If you want to get a leg up I will post the main pack, patch and English esp. I still have not tested this sucker as I am currently backing up my oblivion folder before trying this thing out.

It's a quest mod right? And if so it has adult themed contect correct? The large size makes in seem like a clothing pack, but then again clothing packs usually don't come included with tons of dialogue.

 

I'd love to help testing but sadly I can't due to oblivion being unable to run on my computer. I apologize. But at any rate, good luck to you greg!

I honestly don't know. I did see a script that ran a check to see if the PC was male with a reject/scold note if you were not so......

 

My backup still has an hour to go (make a 7zip archive of it) so still waiting to test things. I will report back periodically as I play through it and update the OP with information and pictures then.

It took 8 hours to translate RU to EN (using Egg Translator) and seemed like forever to revise... until i got distracted...

A note "About male characters issue" - Originally this mod has several dialogues for female characters too, but when you will play this mod and realize why author abandoned the Female part in last as it was so big mod and Voiced too including the players voice..., So if the player is female and say dialogues in male voice then... it will look weird,

 

The mod add a new world, There are leveled list.. and It feels and plays like a totally different game as there are no options to select dialogue you wanna say to NPC... Doesn't mean you cannot make choices actually choices form integral part of the play... Everything is Script Driven.. more than 439 scripts (IIRRC) The clothes don't make this mod big but new locations, resources and Weapons/ monsters/buildings/Misc Items all differ slightly or vastly from Oblivion example Drowners, ghouls, fledgers and Striga from Witcher world are among some monsters... Daytona and Nighttona, Kikimore, Walking tree are some other monsters...

 

I asked Greg to keep this as open translation project,As I was impressed with the treatment and game play in this mod and Simply this mod is brilliant work.. And I will say that don't pass by just because its a male character only... I create characters like every other week play and forget about them... I was level 2 when i played this mod and level 15 when in beat this... so i think this qualifies as some small game in itself...

This is one big mod, can't wait to try it out (but will have to, sadly, damn you real life !). I don't mind the male only part, but then again I play male characters almost exclusively.

It was working fine when I posted last but it looks like their downloads hosting server has crashed today. There is an internal error when trying to download now. I would give it a day or so for them to fix and try again.

I am at the part where I have to get a ghost fern. I can't seem to get it as my character dies before reaching it....Any tips?

 

Anyway, the gameplay has been fantastic. Although it might lag at times, the storyline seems good. The translation are a bit bad, but one can clearly understand what the characters are trying to say. The loading screens has some nice tips that warns the player not to do something.

 

Some bug(s) I came across (Might have SPOILERS):

- Immediately after talking to Mickay, he started following me. I had to use Wait outside 24 hrs, go back in and everything went back to normal.

- I talked to Mickay's daughter and she said to go North (But Journal says it near the Pit (which is south)...)
