Sets00na Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 I've been wondering, is it possible to add two specular map in a single mesh? And also, how do you import bows into skyrim? I tried all the tutorials but i just can't figure out how? Or either they get distortioned or they don't bend. What am I doing wrong?

Sets00na Posted September 12, 2017 Author Posted September 12, 2017 One of my mods, the phantom sword, has an extra shine in the blade (https://bns.mmo-fashion.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/10/2017/02/Junghados-Phantom-Lynblade-2.png) I want to replicate the effect
Azazellz Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 You can add shine in several ways.1) Reduce the transparency of the normal map at this place. The less transparency, the more shiny model be.2) Add a environmental map to the model. White parts on mask-texture mean more influence from the environmental shaders. 3) You can add glow map. But i'm not sure how to do it. 4) You can make saparate sub-shape only for edge with separate texture settings (like blood overlays, but for edge only).
Sets00na Posted September 13, 2017 Author Posted September 13, 2017 Ok i think I solved the problem of the sword, now i need to solve the problem of the bow, how do you import a bow to skyrim, properly?
Azazellz Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 I've never worked with bows, so there's nothing I can do to help.
