Sup fellas! :D

So wanted to ask is it's possible to make overlay tattoos "glow" when unholstered (hands out).

Also if its possible make specific tatts/overlay glow, rather them all of them.

Saw some reddit post mention that it should be possible to code with racemenu.

:) If you got any good reading guides for above relevant knowledge needed please post :lol:

Got some basic experience with CK and quite a bit more with xEdit.

Have never tried skyrim scripting (got decent experience with java).

//Thanks ahead! :P

Hello, and welcome to the world of Skyrim scripting!

I'm pretty sure what you planned should be possible.

I recommend first getting familiar with the basics of Papyrus - this wiki should be a good place to get you started: https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Category:Papyrus

For the holstered/unholstered part, these pages in particular will be relevant: https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=OnCombatStateChanged_-_Actor for NPCs and https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=RegisterForActorAction_-_Form for the player.

As for the tattoo glow part, I think that could be done with a framework like SlaveTats, but if you don't want that kind of dependency, you could also do the necessary calls to NiOverride yourself. Though I'm afraid that aside form the code & occasional comments, those don't have much in the way of real documentation...

If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask!
