How do I update the sims 4? It has an update for the game but I haven't updated it cause I'm worried that with the mods it'll corrupt the game.

Well that danger is always there, but I haven't seen any major problem with this new patch.

The best way is to activate mods in batches, so it's easyer to find the mod that fucks up your game.

Sims 4 deactivate mods after it updates .. for this very reason.

Im lazy so I just activate CC back on without worring .. and so far it have been okay. BUT I do a full backup of my SAVE after an expansion comes out ..like the pets one coming in november, because they many times adds whole new gameplay elements into the mix that can fuck up script mod like WickedWhims

But a way to minimize the impact of mods on a patch day is to organize them into sub-folders under the mods folder, and remove them all from the mods folders, and then put them back one sub-folder at a time.

When you have added them all, then restore your backuped save and put em all in ... and it's happy gaming :)

As I said I don't do this ... "real men dont take backup - we just cry a lot"

Hope this helped
