Snazzishoez Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 All of a sudden NMM not installing mods. I had this issue with FOMM a while back, but I forget how to fix this. I don't know if it's the same issue, but it could be. I remember someone telling me I had to clean up some files somewhere because I install and uninstall so many mods. Once I had cleaned out the files, FOMM was up and running again. Anyone have any clue what I'm trying to explain here? I wish I had written this down so I could resolve this quickly. I hate that I forgot what fixed this situation last time.

Guest Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 you could just uninstall NMM then reinstall it. your load order & mods will stay intact. ive done this many many times. your mods are placed in your games folder btw not in NMM's folder.

I did that too. The problem right now is that NMM seems to work then not work, on and off. It's strange. Right now it's working again. There's a "Download Manager" tab, next to "Mod Activation Queue" tab. When I used that to install the mods, it started working again. I still think there's an issue I just can't pinpoint that will make this run a bit smoother.

I have 0.61.23 & 0.61.5--I prefer 61.23 because the UI is better when installing & deinstalling files.
