I recently got back to playing Morrowind and better bodies just wasnt cutting it for me, so i made my own body replacer based on better bodies textures. It still uses the feet and hands from better bodies thus better bodies is required. Im not sure if anyone here even plays Morrowind anymore but I figured i would upload this anyway.

 

The body is not exactly like double melons. I made the boobs rounder and the body more muscular. Incompatible with any other body and armor replacer.

This body is roughly FIVE times the size of of the original meshes from better bodies. Thus it requires a better PC (129kb vs 679kb)

 

Technical :

 

Unlike better bodies and vanilla Morrowind, this body does not hide any body parts when armor is equipped. instead, armor is equipped over it in order to have skimpy armors. The only slot that the body actually uses is the NECK slot. Literally every other slot should be free. But don't worry, i have literally converted every single piece of armor and clothing in the game (tribunal and bloodmoon included)!

 

Known Issues :

- Claw hands, don't care enough to fix

- Some weights look a little weird when sneaking or other similar positions

- I haven't done much extensive testing so let me know if you find any bugs etc.

Description:

 

I have either resized or completely replaced every armor and clothing mesh in the game. All meshes have been heavily skimpified. Some meshes are conversion from double melons wardrobe in Oblivion, thus i am not the original author of most. All of the meshes are much higher poly than original morrowind meshes, so if your computer was made in 2002, dont even try it. 

 

Known Issues:

- Some stuff clips, particularly around the armpit, it doesn't bother me enough to fix it

- Let me know if i broke the game please

Do you know how cool your mod is? I’m lurking here since 2011 and you’re making me to come out the shadows and write my first post. That’s how cool it is!

 

Are you planning to release 2pacBetterClothes and 2pacExtraConversions for Better Bodies as well? Please don’t get offended. I actually like your mod more than BB. However I have 2 problems with it.

 

1. My potato PC cannot handle it.

2. There are a lot of outfits and I can’t expect you to convert all and every one. That would be a titanic work. I mean, just look at http://v4.fullrest.ru/plugins/races/morrowind/mazken.html. Did you know there are Mazken Armor for Morrowind?

 

BTW. There is a newer version of Better Almalexia at http://mw.modhistory.com/download-10-13339. It includes a wearable armor

this is a necro and i don't really care, for anyone asking for a beast race version of this I made one, kind of. Basically if you're using this mod AND slof's civilised beasts I modified the meshes to allow beast races to use the same meshes as this mod, no more invisible body parts and very nice textures courtesy of slof

install that using the 'upright' version alongside the mod in this thread, obviously, and then extract the attached file to your data files directory and replace the meshes from slofs mod

 

this comes with no guarantee because i don't really know what i'm doing but it works for me. i did not ask for any permissions from the creators of these two mods because i'm not a nice person. feel free to do whatever you want with this
