I Really don't know how to rephrase the title so I'll just explain more

So 2 days ago I decided to go on a little quest of mine, the quest is to stuff as much mods as I can, kind of like a Dream load order, something thats only possible in my dreams but if I tried to replicate it into actual skyrim playthrough it wouldnt work because skyrim would just collapse on itself from the share amount.

So right now im sitting on 138 plugin's but thats not my issue, my issue is the size of the mods.

#1 I have complete BDO Armor Pack 1 + 2 From Team TAL over on Regenbat which is 3.07GB Large

#2 I used the program Skyrim mod cominber which combines bunch of texture mods and chooses the best options for your currently installed (its pretty good) and that file is 7.57GB with Skyrim 2k paired with 2k/2k-1k Textures.

#3 OSEX im using OSEX paired with amorous adventures and last time i used it, it glitched out my papyrus log and was producing 53GB Papyrus log so im not sure if having OSEX will eventually save-bloat me.

#4 Save Size, Skyrim Save sizes tend to run into problems when you reach 17MB+ and with my current load order i wont be suprised if i reach 17MB by level 10 with 2 hour playthrough

I did a "stress test" of having all of these mods activated with ugrids to 7, 4k Shadows and 5000 Shadow distance, I honestly was purposely seeing how long i could go until i crash but I ran for 15 minuites and went 546MB usen in memory blocks log, so i reverted setting back to normal ugrids=5 shadow distance 3000 and 2k Shadows. my memory blocks log with same time spent went from 546MB to 312MB

If anyone is experienced with clusterfucking they game with as much mods as possible and actually playing it pretty smoothly I could really use your advice, can this type of load order survive a decently long playthrough like 70 hours? ill be happy with 40-50 TBH but Im worried ill get 10 hours in and then it just collapses and i spent another 2 days re-doing everything.

If not I will just cheat put myself at level40 and just play around non-seriously.

It is not the number nore the size of mods that clustrfucks your game. The two things you need to be worried about is texture size and (with decent hardware) more important, running scripts. Especially with scripts it's not the amount of scripts some mods might include either, at least if you use crash fixes, but the actually running scripts at a certain time in game. That can possibly break if several mods start a lot of scripts at a certain time for a special scene or something, but in general what you have to limit is the number of mods that run scripts often and regularly, like every 2 seconds or something.

It's totally possible to break your game with 10 rather small mods, it's also totally possible to merge some mods and run 400 totally stable. It depends on the mods, not the numbers. Oufits in general are no big deal as long as it's not all 8k and every NPC wears them.
