arousal always locked and set to 99

i have this issue i havent been noticing until now.  when i set my exposure to 0 it get set to 99 right after i exit the menu. when i unlock the "Arousal locked" checkbox some time later its automatically checked again and its starting to get really annoying.

Have you played through "quick as you like" by any chance?
It is some plot point of that quest that arousal is locked outside the cage you were supposed to go. It usually display status messages when it resets arousal.

I don't know if the effect can be removed yet without tempering with the mod itself.
