Request: Socks as their own mesh

Like some others, I've come across the sock problem while using a feet replacer.

Since the socks in TS4 are just the re-textured feet, using a mod for

better feet will also result in all the socks being toe socks, looking like this:

Now I was wondering if someone could make a mod that gives socks their own mesh (e.g. the vanilla one),

so socks don't look ridiculous anymore?

If someone gives a quick explanation of how it's done, I could try to do it myself

I mean, seeing all the cc that was created for TS4, I'm wondering why no one did this already. Should be pretty easy for someone who knows a thing or two about modding, shouldn't it? :/
