what custom companion would you want as a mod?

I know most people slobber over deathclaws or even a mirelurk mule.  But I think a mutant chihuahua. All cute, small and bug eyed when its bounding along behind you, then hulks out during combat and rips the entrails out of deathclaws.

Every one knows that its the little ankle biters that are far more vicious than a big dog.   I grant a Pomeranian would have had trouble dragging down larger prey, but a pack of pomoranians?    Okay yes part of it is the humor aspect of it.   I love shooting down super mutants right after their "we are superior" schtick, killing them with Chihuahuas would be even more entertaining.

Have you not noticed that the only followers that condone anything even remotely evil are Strong and Gage? Bethesda just pushed the whole "good guy" angle WAY too hard. I usually gravitate in that direction when left to my own devices, but once the Minutemen got pushed on me, I went "Yeeaaah... how 'bout not?" Which apparently wasn't an option.

that was the reason for Nuka world, supposedly.   The institute,as a bad guy, was watered down to almost nothing.  I hadn't notice till the other night that late main quest, synths attack your settlements and say "by order of the institute your to be exterminated."  something like that.  so I think the institute was supposed to be far worse but they decided not to go that route.   Probably why they removed slavery and other elements from the Fall out universe

Nuka World is tacked-on, and feels it. They just shut down an entire set of story arcs, and then tried to fix it with the equivalent of cosmetic surgery. It feels as forced as pushing Preston and his ludicrous crap off on me day 1 did. Because it is. Bethesda just refuses any attempt at consistency. Which is why I hope someone with GECK experience is actually reading this, and is willing to take the time to at least consider my request: a bat-shit crazy extremely hot blonde who gets moist at the idea of random murder and the knowledge that you could literally blow her head off on a whim. Clover was and is FUCKING AWESOME.

Definitely not a goody two shoes type of companion.  Just too many of those already in FO4.  I mean come on....Fallout 4 is a cruel and harsh dog eat dog  (Sorry Dogmeat) world after all.  Bethesda soft pedaled the potential nastiness and violence that you'd expect in a post apocalypse world where law and order has gone to hell.

 I usually play as a good guy, but with an edge, sometimes a nasty  edge.  FNV was pretty good for allowing that, but FO4 is by and large either really neutral in some places or really goody two shoes in others.    I mean, come on CAIT, should be all kinds of shades of gray and most raiders are just sad..... now the raider gangs in nuka world had promise but in the end were just to over the top and high powered, when it take's a  nuke mine and a mini nuke or two to kill a boss its plain stupid.   okay granted the legion was not so tough till the final battle in FNV but still.  

 

I'd love to see a raider boss like Virgil from the bounties mods for FNV, talk about a nasty customer and a companion that has dark edge even while trying to do right.
