jancicc Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Hello, something wrong is with my max 3d. it today started to export nif files way larger than it should be. like skyrim female body should be 310 kb but it exports it as +370 kb and every model what i import in game is invisible, if i use older files all works good, but if i try to export anything from Max 3d, new or freshly made it exports as bigger files and makes it invisible ingame. Nifskope shows that everything is okay tho it isnt. any suggestions what to do? maybe someone had similar problem. i tried to reset Max 3d but didnt help so with reinstalation should be same

Then in nifskope need to remove it =remove branch=(your exported model) b. Copy it from the original =copy branch= c. Put in your model =paste branch= d. attach to NiTriStrips or NiTriShape (I have =NiTriStrips= when exporting.),property. e. If you have other texture, it is necessary to rewrite their path.
jancicc Posted August 3, 2012 Author Posted August 3, 2012 thx for answer but that's not the problem, it was something with export. i have made enough armors and weapons to know what to do in nifscope. and i solved that problem idk how but import/export of nif files were completly messed. didnt notice it at first

Vioxsis Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 My export settings are different to UNREAL's Are you positive you're just exporting what you want and nothing is tagging along?
UNREAL Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Yes, I really ported few models (and a lot of animation), but they all displays in the game ... In general, the problems never happened.
