jigwigigx Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Hoping someone can shed some light on this: I was playing skyrim today as usual with all the mods on my win 10 computer when i got a random game freeze. It does happen sometimes, so i ctrl+alt+delete and then restart the computer. When I restart steam, skyrim appears not to be installed and it looks like I have to reinstall the whole game from scratch even though the game files and launchers are still there. Anyone ever have this problem? I installed steam and skyrim on the D: drive, maybe that has something to do with it? Update: Looks like steam updated itself while I was playing and reinstalled itself on C: which probably caused the game freeze.
