Cezul Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 ITT ( In this thread ): We bullshit around. Post pics or tell funny stories or whatever tickles our fancy. The thread is topicless. and can change from time to time. Basically /B/ without the CP. So, any of you guys fancy the outdoors? I got plenty of funny stories, as well creepy ones to tell of the things i have found in the woods. Well, It's been like three years since hurricane Ike hit South East Texas. Thing is, the town i live in, Pasadena, is a toilet. Literally a dump. Tired of being cooped up in my apartment, i decide to go out for a hike like i used to when i was in the highlands of Macon, Georgia. So i make my way out, walk past the food town and down the bridge to the Vince Bayou which has a woodland trail and a main trail by the bayou. So i'm heading down the main trail, and there's a good river dividing it at a part, with some lonely wooden pegs where a bridge used to be. obviously not surprised with this incompetency, i take a right tracing the river perpendicular to the main stream, to a place i like to call ' Piss Gulch ', named so because it reeks like piss and is filled with broken concrete debris that some lazy contractor didn't feel like disposing of properly. Which of course is to my advantage, as the debris forms good steppin' stones for crossing the narrow river. So now i'm walking down a secluded woodland trail, the trees lurching above me forming a bit of roof, with occasional god rays of the sun beaming through the canopies of the forest. There are fallen trees all across the path. Even a god damn wire carrying pole. >Picture related. Im sitting on it. Also.. >DAT HDR To be continued!
Cezul Posted August 13, 2011 Author Posted August 13, 2011 There is something wrong with this picture. There is no bridge. So, some history on the area i was now walking into.. In the 80's..there used to be an old dirt bike trail. Or so my dad has told me, and i've confirmed it. Although a lot of the hills and jumps are covered up in forest growth. There's some poorly made ramps here too, that are actually kind of lulzy! There's this one ramp that faces a big ass tree, i shit you not. Don't know what the though process was behind setting that up, but moving on... There's the god damn bridge. It floated about 432 yards clear the fuck away from where it's supposed to be. Satisfied at finding the bridge, my quest was complete. And with that, i turned and made my way home.
stgmilleralive Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 So I'm a mortal kombat fan, I grew up with it, made fun of the people that said violent video games turned nerds into killers, and it was the only time I could kick the crap out of my brother. So when Netherrealm studios announced the new MK, I nerded all over the floor and pre-ordered it on the spot. Never once was it a bad decision. From having my wife perform fatalities on me to my own nephew teaching me how much I suck, I thoroughly enjoyed the new alliteration and hope that Netherrealm continues this new, perfected form of the franchise. However, me being an MK fan came across an old find that still has me laughing. It is the worst animated short film I've ever watched with friends. It is filled with things that by today's standards either produce facepalms or utter laughter. Think about prospective here... You can't watch this shit with a straight face. This isn't a dare, it's the freaking law of natural order. But here's the links for endless laughter. Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four Jennifer Hale voice-acts a character here...a little fact for the Bioware Fans.
Cezul Posted August 14, 2011 Author Posted August 14, 2011 I remember seeing the MK cartoons on youtube. I was at first like a MK cartoon? This has to be kick ass. But it is utter face palm inducing. You must see it guys.
Searinglich Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Here's one, On the fourth of July a few years back, one of my friends decided to stand up on the street in front of the fireworks (which were going off) and said "I am God"(as a joke). His pants were then promptly set on fire (stray spark found it's way into his pants) and he ran screaming across the yard "God's on fire, God's on fire!" Needless to say it was hilarious, and he only injured his ego.
