Questions about Aroused Redux, Defeat, Brawling Rape

most of these questions, i could probably answer myself after more time playing with these mods, but I play with Requiem and no loading - it will be a while yet before I can properly test Defeat as both victim and aggressor and it would suck to find out that I need to scrap a play-through several weeks in because i picked wrong mods for what I am trying to get.

Aroused Redux:

1) I don't get how arousal is getting raised. For example I took on a follower -Vilja. Checked that her arousal is 36. We spent a whole night hunting together - no change. I stripped in an inn - no change. I waited naked for 4 hours sitting on a chair in a little room in the inn - her arousal is 38.

The mod page gives this formula: Arousal = TimeRate * (DaysSinceLastOrgasm) + Sum(SingleExposure * ExposureRate)

What counts as 'single exposure' ? For example I was crafting new clothing and changed in from of her a bunch of times.

 

In that mod description, on a separate line there is this: PC arousal increases if one sees naked NPC and visa versa

So does that imply that 'seeing someone naked' and 'exposure' are separate things?

2) NPC exhibitionist stat - how is that determined and does it change by itself due to gameplay events or only set via menu?

Defeat (experimenting with Defeat + No Death Mod):
 

3) I don't want to kill girls and would rather watch a female follower screw them into submission. How does Defeat play with clearing a dungeon/camp? Reading the mod's page, it allows me to capture and handover 1 bandit girl to guards (I assume she will certainly be rehabilitated into a good Skyrim citizen...) but what happens with other females I don't kill?
 

Brawling Rape

4) I tried to brawl with an armored woman outside of Whiterun, but when I lost, my follower Vilja attacked her and defeated her. I ended up stuck in a 'took a knee' pose...

Is there any setting that can be set so followers don't interfere?

I will try to answer your questions as best I can, but I don't claim to be an expert so I could be wrong about any of this!

 

1) Arousal - I'm not really sure how it goes up and down for NPCs in particular, but there are events which can raise their arousal such as seeing someone naked or being witness to sex acts. NPC arousal doesn't mean a whole lot unless you have mods that cause them to act on it, which it doesn't sound like you do.

 

2) Exhibitionist stat, as far as I know, causes someone to gain arousal from being naked in public. I don't have a clue how fast it goes up or anything, but again... for NPCs it usually doesn't matter much.

 

3) With Defeat, you can subdue enemies and tie their hands. If you leave them tied, they eventually will break free unless you tie them permanently. If it's simply a matter of not wanting to kill females, you can leave them tied and they won't get free until long after you've left the dungeon. Be careful about tying anyone permanently, as the game has to keep track of them and I think that can bloat your save. Also, it's been awhile since I used the feature to turn bandits in to guards, but I recall they get murdered once I've handed them over.

 

4) Brawls are handled differently from regular combat in Skyrim, and being defeated in one does not get you raped. However, it should also not result in your companion attacking your opponent. Under regular circumstances I'd suggest you need the Brawl Bug Patch, but I don't know if Requiem has its own version of that or what. You might want to check the Requiem support forums and see if that's a known issue, and if there's any work-around.

NPC arousal doesn't mean a whole lot unless you have mods that cause them to act on it, which it doesn't sound like you do.

 

Thanks for the answers. I am actually trying to use Arousal Redux with Aroused Rape and the reasons for asking about Arousal is that it's not going too well. Like last night when I rented a room and tried to experiment with Vilja by getting undressed in the closed room on second floor above the kitchen.

 

Vilja's arousal didn't budge, but instead the old woman who works the kitchen ran up, barged into the room and initiated the rape dialog. I didn't want to beat up an old woman in front of Vilja so tried the Persuade option but it didn't work and turns out that mod doesn't let you try other options if first choice fails, so instead I got raped by the wrinkly hag with Vilja watching from 2 steps away.

Vilja's arousal didn't go up from that either.
