keoneo Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 I have just gotten Oblivion For steam and just downloaded the recent Lovers Mod but for some reason when i wonder around outside the game will crash (I'm guessing because it's loading a creature). Game runs fine in cities were there are no creatures. I "-" out the creature folder and then it works fine and creature load up when outside but I'm removing the "Lovers" animations when doing that. keoneo Posted July 30, 2012 Author Posted July 30, 2012 I used the load order and still nothing. Still Crashes on new game and if I "-" the creatures folder it loads. Edit: With creatures folder up I found that it was the Skeleton and goblin folder that kept me from starting a new game, but now when I leave the alt. start shack the game crashes. Edit#2: I did more testing with the creatures to summon. The creatures that are not in the game seem to work fine, but any of the creatures that are in the game i.e Wolfs,imps,etc... will crash the game if i have their folder enabled.
gregathit Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Wait...what are you talking about when you say their folder is enabled? Do you mean the esm or esp? There is no such thing as enabling a folder. If you used the load order I gave you then you should be fine. If not then something has been installed wrong or you didn't archive invalidate. Follow these steps to install in the proper order: 1. Install the resource pack 2. Install the base pack rev91 3. Install lovers creatures (all six parts) and then install the rev 91 fix 4. Install RaperS (use the 2nd file that has the 7z extension) 5. Install Joburg 6. Install loversvoiceSSP 7. Install AdultplayPlusSSP 8. Install the new animations project 2.4 Then archive invalidate via bsa redirection, make sure you use the load order above and launch the game with obse_loader.exe. Then make a new game to test.
keoneo Posted July 30, 2012 Author Posted July 30, 2012 what i meant by enabling and disabling the folder, i was talking about changing the name of the folder so the game would not look for it. Ex. My creature folder is named Creature, If i change it to Creature- the game won't load the folder, figuratively turning on and off the folder. Srry if i was confusing you.

gregathit Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Well, I recommend deleting the creatures folder entirely and reinstalling lovers per the steps I gave above. Make sure you archive invalidate via bsa redirection and install growlf's universal skeleton.

Next time it does "nothing" hit the console key and see what errors are coming up. I take it that you are running OBSE to start the game yes? Did you also start a new game to test after reinstalling things? If you try to use an existing save nothing will ever change.

Cause I have steam version, at least that is what it tells me.I started a new game and spawned a creature and I get this error in the console when he uses the spell: error in script 00000000 could not extract function script in call statement
gregathit Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Ok, this is taken from the readme.txt for OBSE: IF YOU ARE USING THE STEAM VERSION OF OBLIVION: 1. Copy obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, and obse_steam_loader.dll to your Oblivion directory. This is usually "C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\common\oblivion". 2. Ensure you have enabled the Steam community in-game, or OBSE will fail to load. Go to Steam > Settings > In-Game and check the box marked "Enable Steam Community In-Game". 3. Launch Oblivion via Steam or by running Oblivion.exe. OBSE will automatically be run along with Oblivion when launched. To disable this, rename or move obse_steam_loader.dll. You do not need to use obse_loader.exe unless you are running the editor. Make sure you have done this so that OBSE is running. Now what version of lovers with pk are you using? Is is version 91?
