Mismatching colors/head issue

I've seem to have run into a issue with heads not blending appropriately with the body, I think it's a common issue (as I have scoured all over trying to find a fix for it) but I am stumped as to how to get rid of it.

/edit/ Concluded it was a creator issue

...damn' date=' now I'm curious as to what this was! :)

Well after fiddling some more with it...I guess I might as well try to further my attempts at getting a idea as to how to fix this mess.

So as I started saying I am using these two mods?

DIMONIZED UNP female body (Skinny)

And

CBBE skin texture V2 V3 plus Thepal and UNP compatible by navetsea

And I am running into a issue I cannot resolve with the head...it doesn't match whatsoever with the rest of the body. I mean its slight I guess? But still noticeable.

Here are the images I tried to link. Imgur apparently did not want to work.

I really like the skin for the UNP body type but it seems there's no easy fix for this sadly. So that was the problem lol...if anyone has any suggestions feel free, I think I am going to move to CBBE and try to use it with that, even though i'm not a fan of CBBE.

Ok, that's because you have a skin texture from one mod and a face texture from another. It can somewhat be blended away if you know what you're doing, but it'd be best to get a head and body texture from the same author, or at get a face texture from an author that tried to match the body texture.

That seems to be pretty much what you figured out, though, so you may have to experiment a bit. I ended up getting lucky and finding someone that released body meshes, and a complete head and body texture set that work very well together.

See I thought something was wrong on the creators part because the two textures are not matching on the body whatsoever. The whole skin mod is from navetsea's download packs with no other additions or mods, I just used UNP and that.

Any good suggestion on a UNP type body mod with proper skins?

 While EXCELLENT and HIGHLY recommended, Navetsea's skins right out of the box do not seem to necessarily match all that well without seams, and in my own experience do seem to require careful post-installation blending using the more in-depth version of TexBlend from Caliente.

There are a number of "kits" available for this, or you can build your own. I used the "Perfect Neck Seam" kit to make my own. There are instructions in the "Comments" thread on how to successfully use the resources in that kit, and I received VERY good help with this here on this site as well.

I use the high-quality CBBEv3M from MAK - I have no experience with UNP & thus am not aware of its quirks, or of what resources are best to use with it.

I used UNP_retexture_by_zyd232. Search for it on here and you'll find it. It's not quite perfect, and I'll likely get around to trying to make it match even more closely than it already does, but the neck seam is very close to invisible except in a very few lighting conditions. But I'm very OCD about such things, and if I ever see the neck seam, I freak right the eff out.

Same, I use to do a lot of 3D modeling and texture work and when I saw seams it drove me up the wall. I tried blending the head textures in photoshop, I applied the same process to the specularity maps, normal maps, and texture maps but it didn't do anything to help sadly. I will say that using ENB and changing the lighting did help though.

Thanks for the replies!
