Complete desaturation.

heya.

 

Yesterday I  was running Vivid Weather with vivid enb, and it was really good, but it was just too dark in places. Here is a pic

so today I decided to try out NLVA. Here is the result, total desaturation. (exteriors are the same)

I have been through the troubleshooting guide on the NLVA page, but for reference

 

You have uninstalled all old enb files.

     - used ENB FXAA SweetFX Manager for this. checked the skyrim directory manually as well

You have copied all the new ENB files to the correct location.

     - put the NLVA ENB Files 2.0  in the base skyrim directory, same as any ENB files

You have set up your enblocal.ini correctly (if you have one).

     - I think so. I am new to ENB's I took the enblocal.ini file that was in NLVA and adjusted it. No change. I used my old enblocal.ini file that was working perfectly, no change .... so here it is. mb I have missed something?

     - It came with .ini tweaks. enabled them in MO.

The Vivid Weathers meshes, textures and scripts are only being overwritten by NLVA.

You have run LOOT and the NLVA.esp is not being overwritten (check in TES5EDIT).

     - yes. Ran LOOT, nps. The NLVA.esp is being overwritten in one place by my RealShelter Patch, but it is in storms, and it is realshelter. I don't see how this could possibly cause my desaturation issue. Regardless here is a pic of the relevant TES5edit page.

And so now I am stuck. I am sure there is something I have missed. I am a bit of an ENB noob after all.

Oh, and just to add, I started a new game, and the problem exists in the character creation screen tossed up by Live Another Life, Sooo, I don't think it is a corrupted save issue.

Oh well. So I went back to yesterday's set-up, and it all works again. Interestingly, I didn't reinstall ele lite, which I had initially added after reading a thread on vivid enb, and now the lighting is better .... sigh .... I wish I understood more about this stuff.

 

But my game looks great again, and the shadows are much less oppresive without my 'fix' of adding a lighting mod, so I am happy again till next weekend, when I will break everything again, in an effort to make some minor improvement.
