Adding a single esm/esp file using FOMM

I always install things with FOMM whenever possible, so how does one load a single esp/esm file into FOMM? Will compressing it into a 7z file and then adding it as a FOMOD work, or am I seriously overthinking things?

 

Back in Oblivion there was an "add file" option for OBMM, but I can't find a similar function in FOMM
