Hello,

I altered some outfits (SOS Revealing stuff) to look good on my new male form using "Male Body for Bodyslide2 and Outfit Studio." I have the body just the way I like, and I have edited all the armors and clothes around it. Both the low and heavy weight options. The problem I face is in game. When I have the character or NPC set to the highest or lowest weight, the outfits look just as I adjusted them. However, any weight in between, and the graphical glitches are all over the place. Can't even see anything at it's worst.

I guess I forgot to make it a conversion or something (From trying to figure it out on my own). But I don't know how to do that and couldn't find anything helpful online.

Anyone know what the problem might be or how I can fix it?

Thank you!

It is usually due to missing mesh/vertices on one of the two weights, but can also be due to a mesh type mismatch in one of the outfit parts. When manually editing meshes, it is possible you may have deleted/modified a small part in the _0 or _1 mesh, but not both.

Open up the _0 outfit in Nifskope, open up a second instance for _1 and check both individually. Save them from Nifskope, if you get an error while saving one of the two meshes you have to start from scratch. I get these sort of errors all the time when making mashups or manually editing outfits in Outfit Studio - if you deviate even slightly from the workflow you can upset the mesh pretty badly.

I'm actually not sure, but there is a guide from gamefever/gameplayer on how to create custom mashups (I think it's on the Nexus) but is also handy for when you are editing outfits. You have to open a new instance of OS for each outfit or you'll get errors. That means you need to shut down OS after doing the zero weight, then open a new instance for the _1 mesh. And so on.

Oh, wow. That's tedious. Hmm. I'll check it out. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!

Are you making your alterations to the outfits at the nif level?

open outfit 0.nif / alter / export

open outfit 1.nif / alter / export

or are you altering the outfit at the project level?

Open project / alter / save replace project

rebuild in bodyslide
