Can NPC Replacers be combined?

Let me begin with saying that I'm dogshit at merging plugins. As a result, I tend to avoid little changes and go for big overhauls. That being said, I'd like to use the following:

Project SNNR - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/83178

The Ordinary Women - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70547/?

BTRH Waifu - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53152/?

In that particular order of overwriting.

My question is this. Assuming all requirements are met and I load their .esps in the above order, then Ordinary will overwrite SNNR and BTRH will overwrite both predecessors...right? Happy ending? Or will they clash horribly in the event that a conflict occurs?

I suppose I should mention that they're all standalone. Or at least, the second two are. No idea about SNNR, the description page is less than helpful.

As an aside, assuming my incredible master plan doesn't work, does anybody know of a relatively all-encompassing NPC replacer (Named and enemies)? Realism isn't a concern, more interested in having NPCs I can look at and now immediately say "Please, put the helmet back on."

I had a look at SOGS v6 earlier and just gave up.

Cheers lads

I havn't tried any of your mods above, but I play for years now with various NPC replacers and overhauls. Usually I merge them as much as I can. So a few points for you below to watch out for. Otherwise I never had any problems.

  • Gray face bug - it can occur if your mods overwrite the same characters
  • possibly missing textures
  • maybe conflicting AI packages - leads to strange and unexpected behaviour of NPCs
  • I advise you strongly to use a mod manager . E.g. Mod Organizer or Nexus ModManager  - personally I prefer the first
  • Hava look at the mod managers - let them tell you about mod conflicts
  • make a save prior to adding the mods - copy it to a SAVE location
  • try it out and have fun biggrin.png

They should be fine. I'd recommend using merge plugins standalone for any merges you want to do. After your are done, load them in xedit and make sure the merge plugin has the correct head parts and face tints. Then test in game.
