fiskgryta Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 so basically ive had this problem for a while and havent found a solution yet. Whenever I try to use a forge or anything that you can interact with, the game goes into idle 3rd person and I cant go back into 1st person. after a few seconds I can run around though, loading seems to solve this problem but still cant use the forges etc. seems to be everything where you see your char in 3rd person, for example the forges, or when you enter your wedding in riften, same thing happens.

srayesmanll Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Very similar thing happened to be - are you running Niruin's Business Plan? The reason I ask is that I ran into a very similar situation with an earlier version where I walked into an the Sleeping Giant Inn (playing a male character) and one of NPC acted as if I had asked for sex. After that, whenever I interacted with any object (the Alchemy table for instance), it would start the animation for using the table then kick me out again without using it. Turns out that it had put me into a hooker/follower mode where I was supposed to follow the NPC to their bed (standard part of NBP). When I talked to that NPC and backed out of the deal, everything returned to normal. The bug in NBP was that as a male character it would assume there was a female follower and start the working girl package, but since there was no follower, it applied it to my PC. It is fixed in the newest version (.9i I believe). And like jancicc said, disable and test, fresh start and test.
