Npc play animations but not player character

Hello,

 

Very simply put, my player character just stands there while the npc indulges in some air humping. Has anyone else encountered this? I'll try some debugging but don't wanna trifle through some 200+ mods. If anyone has a fix for this i'd appreciate.

Do you have the XPSME skeleton installed and at the end of your load order? You'll have to give more information for people to be able to help.

I've tried putting xpmse at the bottom or near the bottom and no luck. Also, this issue didn't exist a while ago... I didn't install any new mods and came back to my old save after a long time and suddenly it started doing this. I've tried a new save but no luck.
