spoonsinger Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Ok, just going back to 32bit proper after a bit of a gap, (i.e. because of SE - which is fine but, erm , a bit boring, also I have a sweet Oblivion load out which has been quite fun, so been playing with that), and forgot how nice my original modded Skyrim actually looks. This has nothing to do with that though. So the question is, (for people who use Lootification), how big is your LLI .esp? In the past I've managed to get around a 50mb esp without problems, (i.e. because of propagation of Wintermyst enchantments but not on a 253 esp load out). So today I'm just trying a load out with 2.5K sets of clothing/armor with Summermyst in the load out. Obviously most of those clothing/armor mods are chest based rather than put into levelled lists properly. Which is why I use Lootification. So without Summermyst it's circa 36mb and works fine. However with Summermyst it's 86mb - as you would expect because of all the extra entries for the additional enchantments. This crashes on start immediately on new game. This is not a 'Summermyst' is crap question - because it isn't. It's more of is there a limit to levelled and levelled sub list sizes which anybody has noticed or documented somewhere question?. I know that Wyre Bash balks at any list being above 255 entries, but looking at the esp in Tes5Edit, no list or sublist seems to exceed that. Also It's just an esoteric question, (which doesn't require a what's your load out type response - sorry just pointing that out as I'm fairly sure I know what I'm doing. God that sounds so assertive. Sorry. Just curious as to what the max esp LLI.esp size anybody has got away with. Also, as the LLI.esp is basically just a glorified linked list of, erm, lists - why that would cause a problem? - other than the engine is basically a game developer version of Microsoft Access)
Gameplayer Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 My own mod "Book of UUNP", has several hundred items added to the Loot Lists, kinda lost track after around 300 but its probably like 400 unique items. Now understand that it also has fairly complete lists for all the vanilla enchanted versions of those items... So there are in fact several 10,000 item listings spread out across all the possible entry points for the base game. Point is if there is a "limit" of how many leveled lists can be changed Im fairly certain I would have found it by now. Another thing, one of my playthrough's I used Perma, which uses a proc patcher to add "Myst" enchantments to items....Took the Book a full 30 minutes on its own to patch. On top of that when I examined the contents of the patch built by the automated program it was rather incomplete. It could be that whatever program you used to automate the process just crapped out. Had to build the Book by hand because of issues like that. Other than that you haven't really ruled out that another type of program isn't causing your crash like a missing master file....Seeing as you probably merged some mods who know's if you merged a Masterfile by mistake?
spoonsinger Posted July 8, 2017 Author Posted July 8, 2017 "Book Of UUNP"!!!! - I knew there was something I missed from the load out (got it in SE though). Anyway I suspect that's just going to make my issue worse. For the time being I'm just going to go without Summermyst until I can summon up the energy to reduce the number of armors which are getting lootificationified. (i.e. remove some of the more stupid ones). Anyway whats your LLI.esp size?
