Make this person a Four-Play-compatible companion

Tried searching for this but could not find anything. The dialogue window that says, Make this person a Four-play-compatible person, keeps popping up no matter how I answer.

 

Every NPC I try to talk to, this window comes up and does not allow me to continue a conversation. Of course there is no completing quests.

 

..any help is appreciated, or at least point me in the right direction.

Go into Vinfamy's control panel and toggle it off the same way you toggled it on.

This does nothing sadly... no matter on/off the result is the same

 

EDIT: Seems if you turn the feature off and then go into the tool and do save and exit, it stops the prompt from opening up... now my problem is that I can open the conversation wheel with my current companion/lover (Curie) but it skips the commands and trade options altogether... anyone aware of this and a possible fix?

After testing of removing and gradually phasing mods back into play, in regards to FP, I can say that my issue stemmed from the pop up about making someone a companion - note that I already had Curie as my romanced follower at the time the popup came up and I accidentally chose to accept person the box was referencing - this broke Curie. I could only access her conversation tree, directly I might add, without trade, commands, etc. I eventually had to roll back to a previous save to get her back to normal. So, the control panel, I believe, or how it manages the framework in regards to the aforementioned popup window, is at play for my issue and disabling the feature did not solve it. Only removing the mod and not putting it back in seems to have worked. Fingers crossed...

"Toggle Companion Mode" to off in Vinfamy's control panel (right CTRL to open)

Make sure you scroll down to the bottom of the list and select 'Save and exit' otherwise your not getting the settings to change.
