ok i have almost all dd mods .except my body being female and cloths  but im having trouble with dd .1 it seams the aothor took the old skirt slots for cloths for one if i move the belt i get dd install errors like crazy .the second is dd seams to break i mean it runs great for hours then boom i have to reinstall all and start over. i had thought i had fixed it last night but it started breaking againim getting logs like road maps an cant tell heads from tails on them.lol and this is only three scence this morning. i take any more mods out i wount even have any need for dd.thouse are the old logs going through a new reinstal so i can play for a few more hours

Do you know that your posts are hard to read and vague? Maybe if you take your time and make yourself a little more clear you can get some help?

Are you using DD mods that are up to date and compatible, do you have all requirements? Which specific DD mods are you having problems with?

my none of my skirts work they take slot 32 where she put the  chasity belt i tryed to move it to the tail listin it was the only place left open but it causes a i forgot what it called it but a bad error wasnt able to reload after i got the error.it pulls an error an shuts down a few min later  what ever it is it causes a vm freeze if i play with out dd im good. cause it wont let me back into the game on just a restart i wish it would.for the vr freeze i bumped my vm up as high as i will go lol. it was 5000 now its 8000.im just to the point i dont know what to do it used to work good  omg i have run way more dd mods then i do now.ohhh an i have seen noting saying the mods are incompatable im kinda building off simple slavery as the main.and yes the mods are upto date.also it gets to where dd items i had worn on my start up dont show mid way through the game.

Restore your papyrus engine values to default, a developer personally confirmed that there is nothing to gain from messing around with it.

Chastity belts use slot 49. Who is this "she" you keep talking about? You should not edit Devious Devices unless you understand exactly what you are doing.

Please try again and tell us exactly, word for word, which error you get.

 

I can't make sense of you papyrus log, but I'm seeing a lot of captured dreams errors. Are you using the old 3.84 version?

ok on devious devices in the worn underneath section it is slotted for 32 and 49and captured dreams 4.09.how do i reset papyurs?i can also go in an take a pic of the slotting for devious devices i have only messed with 32 so i was not running around in panties.and it was reset on my redo.

i am not sure which version on every reinstall i do total redown loads so i dont have the number

Here's is how the device hider works: When you wear something that occupies the specified slot the device will be hidden. If you set slot 49 to hide chastity belts, as soon as you get belted it will be hidden because you are wearing something in slot 49.

 

To reset papyrus, go find out what it was set to before you changed it.

 

By the way, have you sorted your load order with LOOT?

And make sure you do all this on a fresh save, there is no way to safely remove an active mod, especially one that is heavily scripted.

i am litterly starting over and i have never messed with my papoyurs becides copying the files like i did here an only learned to do that a week ago  and yes i did loot and cleaned the dlcs with tes5edit.i also ended up with the problem my great swords ended up on my hip and arrows are on my but

I still have no idea what is actually happening in your game. I can't make sense of what you are saying and we are getting nowhere.

The best advice I can give you at this point is to go watch a tutorial on youtube about more advanced modding, activate a few sexlab mods at a time, play around with them for a few minutes to make sure they work and if nothing breaks you try a few more.

Agreed. I read this thread a few minutes after OP initially posted it, and would have been happy to offer help, but all I could gather is that something related to DD and skirts is breaking.

Actually we don't know better, settings in papyrus make a difference you can measure. The point is that you have to know exactly what you're doing and why and how. A lot of people changed values to the wrong direction or to ridiculous numbers. That a Beth developer assumes it doesn't make any difference, well... i guess he doesn't really know what is done/possible.

  

Even creating any mods that use other scripts than those already implemented in CK wasn't considered necessary, it took somebody to code SKSE first. And they thought 16 Bit to save string counts would be more than enough for all mods combined although it's necessary to use scripts for every dialogue in an RPG game, that's why a lot of save games were corrupted until crash fixes was published. They decided to bake scripts into save games and now you can't properly uninstall a mod. They probably are better programmers than i am, but even i can see that several quite bad design decisions were made creating Skyrim, those guys are no extraordinary genuises. So, i prefer to listen the people who created those tools rather than to the people who made them necessary by bad decisions. But i don't tell you to do the same. And i don't recommend to play around with those values to people who don't know what they're doing.
