Babadiboopi Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Hi, I was wondering about the Polyamorous/Polygamy and Incest traits/settings . Is the trait redundant if you have the setting turned 'On'? Since that would essentially have every sim have Incest/Poly enabled by default? I was wondering because I had the setting on at first, because I wanted it to be enabled, but then I found out about the traits (which seemed more realistic to me) so I got the traits on my sim and then turned the options off. But later when I had an "awkward encounter" by kissing a sim whilst in the presense of another who was romantically involved, my sim got a 24h Embarassed debuff. I thought that wouldn't happen with the polyamorous trait? Thanks in advance.

The traits are just like you're saying, a more realistic way, the setting is more of like a cheat and I should probably rename them as such eventually. You would need to present me the situation in more detail because I don't entirely understand. The Polyamorous trait will work only on the Sim that has it, so the Sim that has the trait should not get jealous, not anybody around. A full Polyamorous relationship requires both Sims to have that trait.
