Freezing when looting containers

Another day, another problem in Skyrim. Honestly this game I s2g. Anyway, as the title says, I'm getting complete freezes (freezes, not CTDs, I don't know if that makes any difference) when looting containers. If I take all or take one item and tab out, it freezes and I have to alt tab and force quit the game. 

 

It was not doing this two days ago, I added a couple of new mods, so I tried taking them out (plus my bashed patch because it got annoyed I took out mods that it needed). The game was then working and not freezing upon looting containers. I then added the new mods back in one at a time. It was suddenly working after adding them all back in. Weird, but okay. So I loaded the game again (a new save) with all of them (+ the bashed patch) and it was freezing it again. So it seems to be the bashed patch causing the issue. I have had no problems using it for SE before, but now when using it, I have this weird problem.

The new mods I added yesterday are Skyrim Underground, Ethereal Elven Overhaul + SE patches, and Even Better Quest Objectives (as well as a couple of texture mods, I assume they're not the cause of the freezing). Aside from these, I've never had a problem with any of the mods above. Suddenly using a bashed patch is just causing this weird issue. 

 

Any insight would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem due to Undeath a while ago, the issue seemd to be in how one of its scripts/quests handles updates, even if you haven't started them. Try disabling that.

 

Edit: I didn't have this problem from the minute I installed it either, and it arose seemingly at random multiple times both with and without load order changes.
