hello im having an issue

when installing i am having an issue understanding what it is i am exactly supposed to do with these 7zip files as only two of them will extract (the BSA and the ESP ones) the rest 7zip doesn't recognize are these just files that go into data or whatever as is? if not someone just give me a step by step of the 7zip stuff so i can figure this out (im semi-new to modding i have several of my friends who are experienced with other mods but there at a loss as well)

 

i am using the NMM and i got the files (except for the one that specifically said it didn't work there) from nexus

 

any help would be nice

Ok first things first you better sit down, second prepare to feel like noob!

 

After downloading the main ESP and all the Main8 files you are good to go.

 

You will get some files which look like this: Main8-33863-8-0.7z.005 etc.

 

After extracting the main ESP you need to extract all the part files. You start this by extracting Main8-33863-8-0.7z, when you start this process the program will automatically extract Main8-33863-8-0.7z.002 all the way to Main8-33863-8-0.7z006 by itself. The .00# is telling the program that it keeps on extracting until it reaches the end. It should of given you a BSA and a ESP.

 

Simply just drag and drop the BSA and ESP into Oblivion\Data, turn it all on in Data files or mod manager and your done. and DON'T USE NMM IT'S SHIT!!!!!!!!!!

yeah ik NMM is shit im going to turn around and go back to OMM again it was so much nicer and i am a noob no need to say im gonna feel like one lol

 

okay the main esp and what not is unzipped but when i go to do the parts i get this error Can not open C://(random files here)/main8-33863-8-07.002 as archive and i cant do anything...

NVM ^^^ i fixed it was missing the .001 file because it was hiding on me...sneaky files
