Seeking Advice on Terrain Texture Mods

I'm in the process of rebuilding my game using mods that I have found to work well together, so, it will be a pretty stable game. Over the time that I have spent on putting this 'collection' together, I have generally put terrain mods on the back burner. The rocks, roads, buildings, all those vanilla textures.

 

Rock, dirt, water, snow, ice, road, walls, buildings

I'm pretty happy with the vegetation, found a couple of nice ones when I was adding Crafting and Alchemy Overhauls.

Animals could do with a bit of a spiffy up-ing, though.

 

The graphics card I am using is a nVidia GeForce 720GT with 1Gb RAM, so I'll be using a texture optimizer (Odanador).

And I won't have many slots available.

 

So, just looking for a bit of a conversation on the subject, maybe links to some nice looking mods.

These are the list of the re-texture mods generally regarded as 'performance-friendly (mostly 1K)', I suppose. 

As for animals, I recommend you at first to install the following 'basic' retexture (mostly 1K) , then overwrite some of them with your favorite, more high-res ones.

I had that installed before, then I turned my focus on the quests, DD, NPCs and interaction mods.

I especially like the waterfall enhancements.

 

Those Authentics look good, and I'm going to check out that Performance mod
