C5Kev Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 I posted the post below on the SLSO page, but I think I may have a SL problem as well. Not sure since I've never had an SL problem before... Here's my post about SL Separate Orgasm: Call me dumb as a stump, but I guess I just don't understand how to use this mod correctly. My enjoyment levels never seems to move much and percentage stays pretty much around 30%, partners kinda the same. On occasion, the enjoyment has gone to 166%, but the colored "bar" never changes to red, etc. and i'm not sure if my character had an orgasm or not I've disabled auto-advance stages in SL, but using "space" seems to lock up my camera and shift-space ends everything - and my keybinds are set to defaults. I guess it also comes down to using the M1 / M2 buttons correctly? Can someone perhaps explain what the heck I should be doing? 'Cuz I ain't doin' it! So the thing is, whenever I use "space" during an animation (no matter what mod), it screws up my camera, which is bound to NP0. As we all know, space is the default key to advance the animations in SL. And as it states above, using shift + space ends everything and my character then moves in weird directions from normal - up is down, left is right and so on - forcing me to load a previous save. Any clue as to why "space" is doing weird shit? It's not bound to any action within other mods, so I kinda don't get it. Natch I can reinstall 1.62 to see if that solves the problem, but thought I'd ask about this first. Thanks!
Lodakai Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 It sounds like some other mod is using the space bar as a hotkey for something else. The way it is supposed to work is Space bar - advance stage Shift space - go back 1 stage Right click boost enjoyment npc left click deny enjoyment npc hold shift to apply to player instead. What you CAN do is go into SL hotkeys and switch advance animation to a different hotkey than spacebar. If that works.. that means something else was using the spacebar.. and you can either keep it as whatever you set it to... or hunt down any other mod that is using spacebar as a hotkey.

I went through everything and nothing is bound to the space bar except SL. I dunno - and it actually doesn't matter. As you said, just rebind that function to something else and move on! So I'll give that a shot. Thanks Lodakai - and if you recall my previous / always CTD'ing problem, seems it had to have been my ENB. I changed that, reinstalled everything and I'm running in great shape. Fingers crossed.

So my questions is: When SL runs animations, etc., is the focus of the controls moved to SL until they're done? Just wondering if that could be my issue.

The focus isn't moved: rather, both the Skyrim keybind and the SexLab keybind are detecting your spacebar presses, but the Skyrim binding is ignoring it because SexLab has has disabled player controls for the duration of the animation.

Well that sounds like moving the focus from Skyrim to SL. No matter, maybe symantics, I just seem to have some weird-ass issues with SLSO / controls and can't get it work properly. Guess I'll blow it out and fuck with it later. Thanks WS.
