trusttrust Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 *new version on page 2*  Hi peepses, i just recently started workin on my third enb after red and unred, one of my focal points is skin color and general lighting that makes your pretties pretty, so this may be of interest to some here - and i'm most interested in feedback!  my char is paler then pale, and i'm slowly playin thru the game while tweakin, so i might not face a lot of areas for a while, and lighting might affect different skin types very differently.  so please feel free to give it a try and gimme your feedback on anything that looks off!  please lemme know fore you forward this to any other site. i suggest using dark dungeons for enb (ice) with this.  oh and i included the code for enb 0.114, but i'd suggest stickin with 0.113 for now for stability and performance.  caps              Â
kyods Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Hey trustrust, Â Thanks for your work. Is this version compatible with Climates of Tamriel?
trusttrust Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 Hey trustrust' date='  Thanks for your work. Is this version compatible with Climates of Tamriel? [/quote']  hey kyods, i made a cot compatible version for my previous enb that peeps seem to like, but it never left wip status since i can't use cot anymore due to a lingering script lag (thanks sounds of skyrim).  http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20326 - optional files - akiro unred for climates of tamriel  i'd suggest u try that one first since i went a bit easier on the gradient, fog and bloom coloration to make it compatible. but i'd like to know how unredtwo work with cot as well, so if u try it lemme know.
diegoforfun Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Hey man. That ENB config looks very nice!! I'll try it for sure!! Thanks for your work.
kyods Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I actually use that version as my default ENB, it's awesome, that's why I am excited about the new version. D'aw, sorry about your problems with script lagging, I hope they can be resolved, because I'm honestly looking forward to updates, not that there's anything wrong with that preset at this moment. Â Once again, thanks for all your work.
trusttrust Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 @diego thx, lemme know if u liked it! Â @kyods ohisee! well it's manageable atm but i can't (or don't want to) install any other script mods now... oh and still, if u find anythin wrong with it get back to me will ya! and ur welcome!!!
Mana Yakushima Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 This looks...so nice. Does sky lighting use AO? I turned off AO and turned up the DOF settings, but the sky lighting really hurts performance unless I put the quality at 2, and everything seems to get bright at that setting :<.
diegoforfun Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 @trusttrust Hey man =D I'm back here to report you what i thought about your ENB. I really enjoyed it dude. That Blur effect that makes some objects as "main scene" and others and "background" scene is pretty nice. I took some screenshots to show my new wip,i posted it on my thread but i hope you don't mind if i post it here: Â Â Â Â
trusttrust Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 thx for the feedback guys!!! love to hear u like it, but really, lemme know everything u don't like about it too. be cruel if you must  @klausILY yep, sky lighting is indeed sum form of ao, but it's still wip, so unless boris got everything worked out i'd suggest to stick with normal ao for now. and turning of ao does indeed make u lose a lot of contrast (shadows are a lot brigther), i'd actually have to readjust other values for peeps that can't use ao...  so mebe try running with the 0.113 enb and normal ao enabled, if it's to heavy on ur fps i can suggest some tweaks to increase ao performance!  @diegoFF i dun't mind at all, great shots! and may i say can't wait for ur jade armor, looks great!!!
Mana Yakushima Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 I turned my res down and I can run it fine now, are you going to make a cot version available? If I had to critique anything it'd be the overall fuzzy-ness of everything, which i'm guessing happens when ao + bloom and the fog effects are present, particularly in the rift where there's a lot of AO-covered grass. But thats the intended look right?

[/quote'] Â coolio, could you drop me a pic so i can better see what you mean? and are u using 0.114 still? nope, prolly no cot version of unredtwo, least not in the near future, but who knows, they might still work well together! and feel free to try the cot version of unred
Mana Yakushima Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Hm think I figured out why it was so blurry, for the most part at least. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Using the COT, depending on the weather it gets very "fuzzy", even though the non-enb screen didn't look very foggy. Â Â Â Â ^Took that somewhere else. Whats the dif between this and the COT version btw? Could you swap the files out and have it work that way?
trusttrust Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 allrighty, thx for the pics! i'm a little surprised because i had a chat with the creator of cot soon after it came out about me adjusting unred to cot. since he basically added an infinit amout of possible weather combinations, and i couldn't possibly come across them all, i asked him if he's also adding large amounts of fog to certain weather like realistic lighting does, and he said no. but that's a lotta fog right there, and this will go awry with what i do with fog in unred and unredtwo - u can do amazing things with fog!  the problem is, if u want to adjust an enb to a mod that changes vanilla lighting massively like cot does, you would have to stay closer to vanilla with ur enb values. frankly, to receive the effects like they were intended by the creator of cot, u have to use the exact vanilla values and just slap some dof and ssao on it. there's a couple of enb out there that do that, but to be honest... i wouldn't call that enb's anymore  so in short the unred cot version is closer to vanilla values, while i refine my artistic idea with unred and unredtwo. it might work with cot or go horribly awry, but i don't care that much cause frankly a great enb beats a weather mod every time in my opinion.  hope that helped  ps: if i ever get my script probs fixed i might adjust unred cot again to work better with the fog stuffs...
hussainmushahid Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 this is really good but is there any way to make the amount of dynamic depth of field less ? I know how to disable it but I like it. Â thank you very much for this mod.

I know how to disable it but I like it.  thank you very much for this mod.  hi hussain, the easiest way for you would be to get the 1.0 version from "old versions" here http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20326 and use the enbeffectprepass.fx file from that one, it's more subtle  glad u like it, and remember to give feedback on other stuff u don't!
SummGai Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 hey trusty, great job on the enb,tis real classy, my question is that can you and if you can, how to remove the wide screen thing the uh black parts at the top n bottom to return my screen back to full?
trusttrust Posted July 29, 2012 Author Posted July 29, 2012 hey trusty' date=' great job on the enb,tis real classy, my question is that can you and if you can, how to remove the wide screen thing the uh black parts at the top n bottom to return my screen back to full? [/quote'] Â hi summgai, glad you like it! to remove the black bars open the enbeffect.fx file with any word editor (notepad) and search for "#define HD6_VIGNETTE" - then comment it out by adding // in front of it, like this "//#define HD6_VIGNETTE". lemme know if you have problems and i'll up a version without vignette.
Guest Vendayn Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 So, I knew I had an earlier version of this enb mod. But alas, it was nowhere in my Skyrim mod folder where all my downloaded mods go. I then looked in my backup harddrive, since I knew I moved it over there...but alas...it wasn't there either. I then looked in my favorites and it too was gone. So I looked in my private Mediafire account, where I also use it as a semi-backup area. It too wasn't there. This mod just vanished out of thin air off all traces of my PC. Confused and sad...I saw it not on Nexus. There was the undone version. Which I would probably have gone with. But I then knew Loverslab is a great place to find all kinds of mods. Â And so finally...as of a couple days ago...I'm glad to have refound this mod And I made sure this time to keep a backup, just in case I can't get it again. This ENB is easily my favorite out of all other ones I've tried or/and seen. You've done amazing work
nyxeka Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 er, any chance you could share the female model mods you're using?
diegoforfun Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 @nyxeka Pretty much sure, those are Girls of Skirim: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21038
R0R0N0 Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 This is my favourite enb! Thanks for this.
