Based on how long the nature events took, it's clear I need to pare down the total number or we'll be stuck at this stage for far too long.
Before I wanted to have 800 unique events, 200 for each of the 4 subcategories. (200/200/200/200)
I felt this would be a competitive number of events/encounters with Corruption of Champions or singleplayer Flexible Survival.
However for now I'm going to make 200/100/50/25 which in total is less than half as many.
We can always come back later and add more.

Hi there, just bought your game today and tried it out.

 

I'm thinking your probably quite busy, but really, I urge you to give at least minor, bullet-style documentation on what sort of content and genre of content is available in this or any current build.

 

I still went ahead and took a chance even with next to no information findable like anywhere, which I normally wouldn't do.

 

I'll digress off of that, however. Let's discuss your game.

 

I applaud your ambition here. I just adore sandbox games, And your game is clearly going that direction.

 

I'd like to suggest lessening the chance of player misses in combat. Once you make second level, and begin to encounter 2 creatures at a time with a very common frequency, misses cause loss often enough to sterilize growth too much in my opinion. Unless you use the starting dagger, missing 3 times in a row (happening quite frequently I'm sad to report) means you may need to run from 2 creatures that each possess 5 hit points due to basic stamina loss and not being able to recover it fast enough. This means no treasure, or XP, frequently.

 

Also, please increase both the monster loot drop rate and value of items dropped or found. When 5 out of 7 events seem to be monster encounters, and at least a third of those must be ran from due to excessive missing, that leaves precious few items to sell after an hour of grinding. And nearly everything dropping sells for only 1 gp. It took me hours to afford a sword. I have a hide shield and iron boots, but those were sheer lucky drops. It'll be another few hours I'm sure before I can get hide bracers. Really, please consider this. Taking over an hour to accumulate even a single piece (or maybe 2) of basic, starting gear is too long in my opinion.

 

Also, have a look at the midget minotaur creature... His legs clip off his body. And during the spooning style sex, the protagonists dick clips through the woman's belly. Just an FYI.

 

What is the benefit of leveling, outside of increasing one of the 3 stats? Are the fraternization females level locked? Do they have more/different sex animations at later levels?

 

Is there anything to do right now other than fight, run, hope for some loot drops to afford some gear, and voice the women into sex right now?

 

Now, I do like the sex animations, but will we be able to interact with the sex in the future? How about a slow down/speed up hot key? A hot key to change positions? Let us use a hot key to cum even maybe?

 

What do you think of making more use of the interior landscape in the inns than just the floor during sex? How about bending her over the table or the stair rail, grabbing a fistful of her hair, and plowing her from behind? For that matter, how about standing sex with her against the wall, both facing it and also with her back to the wall and facing you? Hehe. And PLEASE tell me there's a doggy style animation!!

 

What sort of genres are you going for here? I'm only about level 4 right now, with very little equipment, and I've only had sex with the first two women, so I can't yet get a feel for what this game is outside of grinding and some nice sex animations... But again I do see immediately its desire to be a sandbox. I really hope you continue to work this and don't get burned out... A sandbox like this could turn out to be quite awesome I think.

 

But I do think it would help if you'd at least state some design goals, like "I want to put in NTR or add corruption" or "I plan on letting the protagonist whisper - sex some npc women into servile party members you can adventure with" or something. It would make it easier to offer you some suggestions, if you gave us some context to fit them in.

 

Finally, I LOVE how Hanna is going to look!! I can't wait to try her, see how those monsters abuse her sexy body, and really hope she can have some armor break and nudeshy type animations to go along with it. I'd love to hear you say what direction you want to go with this game, and about any ideas you are working to implement.

Here's an early look at the new H-system.

Unfortunately the nakadashi system (which was coming along so well) broke just today.

Apparently it's a problem with a certain DLL and I don't have the binaries for it so I have to wait for a response from the guy who wrote it.

Still waiting on the maker of this fluid simulation middleware to get back to me.
In the meantime, here's a slightly updated public tech demo.

I'm going to start posting each demo with a new random girl.
This one came out relatively small breasted.
Probably a good thing that the NPC generator can make them like that.
Seen enough comments from people griping about games that only feature "balloon tits".

The world of Renfield will feature a vast variety of humanoid species.
All of them will be able to interbreed with the offspring reflecting a combination of the parents' features.
Children of a human father and elven mother will be half elves in a very literal sense.

If one of those half-elves breeds with an orc, the children will be half orc, 1/4 human, 1/4 elf.
Then those children could mate with a half-human, half-canine humanoid.
And so on and so on....

Making gradual progress with the runtime character creation along with skin and hair shaders.

Next I'm going to focus on the facial expression system.

At the moment the face just changes instantly.

The finished system will use linear interpolation for subtle changes over time.

Also I've added hotkeys to adjust animation speed and skip straight to the climax.

The random-girl-of-the-day came out with a really nice face but with a flat chest and hard nipples.

Maybe that's to some people's liking.  Takes all kinds.

Hopefully this will be the last day of hair-related work for a while.

Wigs are made of multiple submeshes and can feature highlights.

It will take hours of tweaking render queues, opacity levels and 

other settings to get the runtime wigs looking like these renders.

Previously I was going to sell it on DLSite for about $20.  (you have to set the price in Yen so it would fluctuate a bit)

But now with Steam's policy change, perhaps I can sell it there as well.  Same price.

Hello, just discovered this project of yours, and I gotta say, I admire what you've got going on here! I do have a question, and it has to do with the main character. You've mentioned that a character creation system is to be expected, and it made me wonder just how in-depth we players can expect it to be. Do we have complete control over our starting body, for example? Character creation is a huge point for me, and considering the 3D nature of the game, I wondered how far we can expect that to go. Either way, can't wait to see where this game goes!
