Severe head/body colour mismatching

As pictured below, there's some severe colour mismatching among my NPCs.

At first I thought it was because of ApachiiSkyHair NPC Overhaul so I uninstalled it and redid TES5Merged, FNIS, and Dual Sheath, but to no avail. I've tried moving around my mod list. I've also tried installing the BlankDetailMap.dds Fix found here. I could really use some help.

I get this when I forget to add an exception to Requiem.  But since you don't use Requiem and you have a lot of mods, then the best -- and quickest -- way to figure this out is to use the process of elimination.  Nobody ever believes me and they never try this until they've wasted days tearing their hair out.  

 

It's really simple and should take less than an hour.  Disable half your mods, if problems persist, then re-enable all your mods and disable the OTHER half.  Keep doing this until you find the culprit.  It actually does not take very long but, like I said, nobody ever believes me.

 

However, there's another problem that will cause this gray face bug:  textures.  If at some point you accidentally overwrote some textures and you weren't aware of it when it happened, the only thing to do is to either A:  re-install the texture pack and overwrite everything (to test, of course), or B:  the problem is with the facetint textures in Data\Textures\Actors\Character\FaceGenData\FaceTint\Skyrim.esm.  

Judging from the pictures, you definitely installed some sort of NPC overhaul.  Re-install that NPC overhaul because you might have overwritten the Facetint for all your NPCs without knowing.

So I did this but couldn't find a culprit. I however noticed that if I made a new save, the mismatch would be sometimes be gone. This happened even on load orders where mismatch was present.

On new saves where mismatch was gone, I could load an older save that I know had mismatch only to find it gone. If I loaded yet another save, the mismatch would be back.

I could also note that NPCs inside Candlehearth Hall, where I started the new save, would often be fine. However, the NPCs outside were not fine.

I had this happen. Did you find the author's patch's and "ApachiiSkyHair NPC Overhaul Brown forehead fix.-56551-V-01" written by another author? I think they fixed it. Royal PITA, but kind of worth it to see Nazeem running around with Fabio hair.
