Request: Bird nif with critter movements. I want it flutter around closeby, not patrol a large area. Any help?

Hope that makes sense. I want to just have a peaceful scene with birds closeby moving about. Already have bugs and critters doing this because that's what they do. But birds are tricky, they are made to fly around in a large radius. For all I know I can fix this in NifSkope but it's not something I have experience with. Any mods or methods I can use to get this?  Thanks!
